Romans 1

1 Paul a bondservant of Christ Jesus, called an apostle as one having been and remains separated into a well-message of God,

2 which He before-promised through His particular prophets in Holy Scriptures,

3 concerning His particular Son, of the One Who came to be out from a seed of David according to flesh,

4 the One Who has been appointed Son of God in power according to a Spirit of holiness out from a resurrection of dead ones, Jesus Christ our particular Lord.

5 Through Whom we receive grace and apostleship into obedience of trust in all the nations on behalf of His particular name.

6 In Whom also you all are called ones of Jesus Christ.

7 To all the ones who are being in Rome, beloved of God, called holy ones, grace to you all and peace away from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ.

8 First, on the one hand, well-gracing to my particular God through Jesus Christ concerning all of you, because your particular trust is being downward-announced in all the world.

9 For the God is my witness to Whom I am serving in my particular spirit in the well-message of His particular Son, how I am making for myself unceasingly remembrance of you all

10 always upon my particular prayers, while begging if somehow now at last I will be well-way in the desire of the God to come toward you all.

11 For I am longing to see you all in order that I might share a certain spiritual grace-gift to you all into the result for you all to be established,

12 moreover, this is to be called-alongside-together in you all through the trust of you all in one another and even of me.

13 But on the other hand, I am not desiring you all to be ignorant brethren, that often I before-placed for myself to come toward you all but I was hindered until the now, in order that I might also have a certain fruit in you all, just as also in the remaining nations.

14  I am a debtor to Greeks and even to Barbarians, to wise ones and even to foolish ones,

15 so according to my particular eagerness, to well-announce to you all also, the ones in Rome.

16 For the well-message I am not being ashamed, for it is power of God into salvation to everyone, the one who is trusting, to Jew first and also to Greek.

17 For in it, a state-of-justification of God is being revealed out from trust into trust, just as it has been and remains written, but the one justified will live out from trust.

18 For a wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all irreverence and injustice of men, of the ones who are holding-down the truth in injustice,

19 because the thing known of God is manifested in them; for the God manifested it to them.

20 For the invisible things of Him away from creation world by the products which are being understood, being downwardly-seen, and His particular everlasting power and Divinity into the result for them to be without-defense,

21 because after they knew the God, they did not glorify as God or well-graced Him, but they were emptied in their particular reasoning and their particular unintelligent heart was darkened.

22 While affirming to be wise ones, they were made foolish ones,

23 and they changed the opinion of the incorruptible God in likeness of an image of corruptible man and of birds and of four-footed creatures and of creeping things.

24 Wherefore, the God gave them alongside in the full-lusts of their particular hearts into uncleanness, of the result to dishonor their particular bodies in themselves;

25 which certain ones exchanged the truth of the God in the lie, and they reverenced and served as to the creation alongside the One Who created, Who is blessed into the ages, amen.

26 On account of this, the God gave-alongside them into passions of dishonor; for even their particular females exchanged the natural use into the use alongside nature.

27 And likewise even the males, after they released the natural use of the female, outwardly-burned in the longing of themselves into one another, males in males, while working-down the deformity, and while receiving back the anti-wage in themselves, which was necessary from their particular wandering.

28 And just as they did not approve to be holding the God in full-knowledge, the God gave them alongside into a reprobate mind to be doing the things which are not suitable.

29 Ones who having been and remain filled with all injustice, wickedness, covetousness, evil, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-disposition, gossips,

30 downward-speakers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, boaster, contrivers of evil things, untrustworthy to parents,

31 unintelligence, covenant-breakers, unaffectionate, unmerciful,

32 Which certain ones, after having full-knowledge the requirement of the God, that the ones who are practicing the such things are worthy of death, not only are they doing them, but also well-pleased-together with the ones who are practicing them.

8 Πρῶτον (First) μὲν (on the one hand) εὐχαριστῶ (well-gracing) τῷ (to particular) θεῷ (God) μου (my) διὰ (through) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) Χριστοῦ (Christ) περὶ (concerning) πάντων (all) ὑμῶν (of you) ὅτι (because) ἡ (particular) πίστις (trust) ὑμῶν (your) καταγγέλλεται (is being downward-announced) ἐν (in) ὅλῳ (all) τῷ (the) κόσμῳ. 9 μάρτυς (witness) γάρ (For) μού (my) ἐστιν (is) ὁ (the) θεός, (God) ᾧ (to Whom) λατρεύω (I am serving) ἐν (in) τῷ (particular) πνεύματί (spirit) μου (my) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) εὐαγγελίῳ (well-message) τοῦ (particular) υἱοῦ (Son) αὐτοῦ, (of His) ὡς (how) ἀδιαλείπτως (unceasingly) μνείαν (remembrance) ὑμῶν (of you all,) ποιοῦμαι (I am making for myself)

10 πάντοτε (always) ἐπὶ (upon) τῶν (particular) προσευχῶν (prayers) μου (my) δεόμενος (while begging) εἴ (if) πως (somehow) ἤδη (now) ποτὲ (at last) εὐοδωθήσομαι (I will be well-way) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) θελήματι (desire) τοῦ (of the) θεοῦ (God) ἐλθεῖν (to come) πρὸς (toward) ὑμᾶς. (you all.)

11 ἐπιποθῶ (I am longing) γὰρ (For) ἰδεῖν (to see) ὑμᾶς, (you all) ἵνα (in order that) τι (a certain) μεταδῶ (I might share) χάρισμα (grace-gift) ὑμῖν (to you all) πνευματικὸν (spiritual) εἰς (into) τὸ (the result) στηριχθῆναι (to be established) ὑμᾶς, (for you all,)

12 τοῦτο (this) δέ (moreover,) ἐστιν (is) συμπαρακληθῆναι (to be called-alongside-together) ἐν (in) ὑμῖν (you all) διὰ (through) τῆς (the) ἐν (in) ἀλλήλοις (one another) πίστεως (trust) ὑμῶν (of you all) τε (and) καὶ (even) ἐμοῦ. (of me.)

13 οὐ (not) θέλω (I am desiring) δὲ (And) ὑμᾶς (you all) ἀγνοεῖν, (to be ignorant) ἀδελφοί, (brethren) ὅτι (that) πολλάκις (often) προεθέμην (I before-placed for myself) ἐλθεῖν (to come) πρὸς (toward) ὑμᾶς, (you all) καὶ (but) ἐκωλύθην (I was hindered) ἄχρι (until) τοῦ (the) δεῦρο, (now) ἵνα (in order that) τινὰ (a certain) καρπὸν (fruit) σχῶ (I might have) καὶ (also) ἐν (in) ὑμῖν (you all) καθὼς (just as) καὶ (also) ἐν (in) τοῖς (the) λοιποῖς (remaining) ἔθνεσιν. 14  Ἕλλησίν (to Greeks) τε (but on the other hand) καὶ (even) βαρβάροις, (to Barbarians) σοφοῖς (to wise ones) τε (and) καὶ (even) ἀνοήτοις (to foolish ones,) ὀφειλέτης (a debtor) εἰμί, (I am)

15 οὕτως (so) τὸ (particular) κατ᾽ (according to) ἐμὲ (my) πρόθυμον (eagerness) καὶ (also) ὑμῖν (to you all) τοῖς (the ones) ἐν (in) Ῥώμῃ (Rome.) εὐαγγελίσασθαι. (to well-announce)

16 Οὐ (not) γὰρ (For) ἐπαισχύνομαι (I am being ashamed) τὸ (the) εὐαγγέλιον, (well-message) δύναμις (power) γὰρ (for) θεοῦ (of God) ἐστιν (it is) εἰς (into) σωτηρίαν (salvation) παντὶ (to everyone) τῷ (the one) πιστεύοντι, (who is trusting) Ἰουδαίῳ (to Jew) τε (and) πρῶτον (first) καὶ (also) Ἕλληνι. 17 δικαιοσύνη (a state-of-justification) γὰρ (For) θεοῦ (of God) ἐν (in) αὐτῷ (it) ἀποκαλύπτεται (is being revealed) ἐκ (out from) πίστεως (trust) εἰς (into) πίστιν, (trust) καθὼς (just as) γέγραπται· (it has been and remains written) ὁ (the one) δὲ (and) δίκαιος (justified) ἐκ (out from) πίστεως (trust) ζήσεται. (will live.)

18 Ἀποκαλύπτεται (is being revealed) γὰρ (For) ὀργὴ (a wrath) θεοῦ (of God) ἀπ᾽ (from) οὐρανοῦ (heaven) ἐπὶ (against) πᾶσαν (all) ἀσέβειαν (irreverence) καὶ (and) ἀδικίαν (injustice) ἀνθρώπων (of men) τῶν (of the ones) τὴν (the) ἀλήθειαν (truth) ἐν (in) ἀδικίᾳ (injustice) κατεχόντων, (who are holding-down)

19 διότι (because) τὸ (the thing) γνωστὸν (known) τοῦ (of) θεοῦ (God) φανερόν (manifested) ἐστιν (is) ἐν (in) αὐτοῖς· (them;) ὁ (the) θεὸς (God) γὰρ (for) αὐτοῖς (manifested it) ἐφανέρωσεν. (to them.)

20 τὰ (the) γὰρ (For) ἀόρατα (invisible things) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ἀπὸ (away from) κτίσεως (creation) κόσμου (world) τοῖς (by the) ποιήμασιν (products) νοούμενα (which are being understood) καθορᾶται, (being downwardly-seen) ἥ (particular) τε (and) ἀΐδιος (everlasting) αὐτοῦ (His) δύναμις (power) καὶ (and) θειότης, (Divinity) εἰς (into) τὸ (the result) εἶναι (to be) αὐτοὺς (for them) ἀναπολογήτους, (without-defense,)

21 διότι (because) γνόντες (after they knew) τὸν (the) θεὸν (God) οὐχ (did not) ὡς (as) θεὸν (God) ἐδόξασαν (they glorify) ἢ (or) ηὐχαρίστησαν, (well-graced Him) ἀλλ᾽ (but) ἐματαιώθησαν (they were emptied) ἐν (in) τοῖς (particular) διαλογισμοῖς (reasoning) αὐτῶν (their) καὶ (and) ἐσκοτίσθη (was darkened.) ἡ (particular) ἀσύνετος (unintelligent) αὐτῶν (their) καρδία. (heart)

22 φάσκοντες (while affirming) εἶναι (to be) σοφοὶ (wise ones,) ἐμωράνθησαν (they were made foolish ones,)

23 καὶ (and) ἤλλαξαν (they changed) τὴν (the) δόξαν (opinion) τοῦ (of the) ἀφθάρτου (incorruptible) θεοῦ (God) ἐν (in) ὁμοιώματι (likeness) εἰκόνος (of an image) φθαρτοῦ (of corruptible) ἀνθρώπου (man) καὶ (and) πετεινῶν (of birds) καὶ (and) τετραπόδων (of four-footed creatures) καὶ (and) ἑρπετῶν. 24 Διὸ (Wherefore,) παρέδωκεν (gave-alongside) αὐτοὺς (them) ὁ (the) θεὸς (God) ἐν (in) ταῖς (the) ἐπιθυμίαις (full-lusts) τῶν (particular) καρδιῶν (hearts) αὐτῶν (of their) εἰς (into) ἀκαθαρσίαν (uncleanness) τοῦ (of the result) ἀτιμάζεσθαι (to dishonor) τὰ (particular) σώματα (bodies) αὐτῶν (their) ἐν (in) αὐτοῖς· (themselves;)

25 οἵτινες (which certain ones) μετήλλαξαν (exchanged) τὴν (the) ἀλήθειαν (truth) τοῦ (of the) θεοῦ (God) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) ψεύδει (lie) καὶ (and) ἐσεβάσθησαν (they reverenced) καὶ (and) ἐλάτρευσαν (served) τῇ (as to the) κτίσει (creation) παρὰ (alongside) τὸν (the One) κτίσαντα, (Who created) ὅς (Who) ἐστιν (is) εὐλογητὸς (blessed) εἰς (into) τοὺς (the) αἰῶνας, (ages,) ἀμήν. 26 Διὰ (on account of) τοῦτο (this) παρέδωκεν (gave-alongside) αὐτοὺς (them) ὁ (the) θεὸς (God) εἰς (into) πάθη (passions) ἀτιμίας, (of dishonor;) αἵ (particular) τε (even) γὰρ (for) θήλειαι (females) αὐτῶν (their) μετήλλαξαν (exchanged) τὴν (the) φυσικὴν (natural) χρῆσιν (use) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) παρὰ (alongside) φύσιν, (nature,)

28 Καὶ (And) καθὼς (just as) οὐκ (did not) ἐδοκίμασαν (they approve) τὸν (the) θεὸν (God) ἔχειν (to be holding) ἐν (in) ἐπιγνώσει, (full-knowledge) παρέδωκεν (gave-alongside) αὐτοὺς (them) ὁ (the) θεὸς (God) εἰς (into) ἀδόκιμον (a reprobate) νοῦν, (mind) ποιεῖν (to be doing) τὰ (the things) μὴ (not) καθήκοντα, (which are suitable,)

29 πεπληρωμένους (ones who having been and remain filled) πάσῃ (with all) ἀδικίᾳ (injustice) πονηρίᾳ (wickedness) πλεονεξίᾳ (covetousness) κακίᾳ, (evil) μεστοὺς (full) φθόνου (of envy) φόνου (murder) ἔριδος (strife) δόλου (deceit) κακοηθείας, (evil-disposition) ψιθυριστὰς (gossips)

30 καταλάλους (downward-speakers) θεοστυγεῖς (God-haters) ὑβριστὰς (insolents) ὑπερηφάνους (arrogants) ἀλαζόνας, (boasters) ἐφευρετὰς (contrivers) κακῶν, (of evil things) γονεῦσιν (to parents) ἀπειθεῖς, (untrustworthy)

31 ἀσυνέτους (unintelligent) ἀσυνθέτους (covenant-breakers) ἀστόργους (unaffectionate) ἀνελεήμονας· (unmerciful)

32 οἵτινες (Which certain ones) τὸ (the) δικαίωμα (requirement) τοῦ (of the) θεοῦ (God) ἐπιγνόντες (after having full-knowledge) ὅτι (that) οἱ (the ones) τὰ (the) τοιαῦτα (such things) πράσσοντες (who are practicing) ἄξιοι (worthy) θανάτου (of death) εἰσίν, (are) οὐ (not) μόνον (only) αὐτὰ (they) ποιοῦσιν (are doing them) ἀλλὰ (but) καὶ (also) συνευδοκοῦσιν (well-pleased-together) τοῖς (with the ones) πράσσουσι (who are practicing them.)
