John 2

And on the third day a wedding came to be in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

And also Jesus was called and His disciples into the wedding.

And having lacked wine, the mother of Jesus says toward Him, “They do not have wine.”

And Jesus says to her, “Woman, what is it to Me and to you? My hour is not yet come.”

His mother says to the servants, “Whatever He might say to you, do it.

And there were six stone water-pots lying there, according to the purification of the Jews, each holding two or three measures.

Jesus says to them, “Fill the water-pots of water.” And they filled them until the top.

And He says to them, “Now draw and bring it to the chief steward.” And the ones brought it.

And as the chief steward tasted the water come to be wine, and did not know from where it is, (but the servants knew, the ones who had drawn the water), the chief steward calls the bridegroom

and says to him, “Every man first places the good wine, and when they might be drunk, then he places the lesser wine, but you have kept the good wine until now.”

This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed into Him.

After this He and His mother and His brothers and His disciples descended into Capernaum, and remained there not many days.

And the Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus ascended into Jerusalem.

And He found in the temple the ones selling bulls and sheep and doves, and the money-changers sitting,

and having made a whip out of rope, He cast them all out of the temple, both the sheep and the bulls, and He poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned the tables.

And He said to the ones selling the doves, “Take up these things from here. Do not make the house of My Father a house of trade.”

His disciples remembered that it is written, “The jealousy of Your house will devour Me.”

Then the Jews answered and said to Him, “What sign do You show us because You do these things?”

Jesus answered and said to them, “Loose this temple and in three days I will raise it.”

Then the Jews said, “In forty and six years this temple was built, and You will raise it in three days?”

But that One was speaking concerning the temple of His body.

Therefore, when He was raised out from dead ones, His disciples remembered that He was saying this, and believed as to the Scripture and the word which Jesus said.

And as He was in Jerusalem, in the Passover, in the feast, many believed into His name, beholding His signs which He was doing.

But Jesus Himself was not entrusting Himself to them, on account of the result for Him to know all men,

and because He was not having need, in order that a certain one might testify concerning man, for He Himself was knowing what was in man.
