God, having spoken formerly to the fathers in the prophets by many parts and many ways,
upon these last days spoke to us in a Son, Whom He placed an heir of all things, through Whom also He made the ages,
Who being the radiance of the glory and impressed image of His substance, bearing and all things by the saying of His power, having made purification of sins, He sat in the right of the majesty in the heights.
By having become so much better than the angels, by as much as He has inherited a more excellent name alongside of them,
For to which of the angels did He ever say: You are My Son, today I have begotten You? And again, I Myself will be to Him into a Father, and He Himself will be to Me into a Son?
And when again He might bring the Firstborn into the inhabited earth, He also says: Let all the angels of God worship Him.
And, on the one hand, toward the angels He says: The One making His angels spirits, and His ministers a flame of fire.
But on the other hand, toward the Son He says: Your throne God, is into the age of the age, and the rod of integrity is a rod of Your kingdom.
You loved righteousness and hated lawlessness, on account of this, God, Your God, anointed You the with oil of exultation alongside of Your partners.
And: You O Lord, founded the earth according to beginnings, and the heavens are the works of Your hands,
they will perish, but You remain, and they all will become old as a garment,
and like a cloak You will roll them up, and they will be changed as a garment, but You are the same, and Your years will not cease.
And toward which of the angels has He ever said: Sit out from My right until I might place Your enemies a footstool of Your feet?
Are they not all ministering spirits being sent away into service on account of the ones who are going to inherit salvation?
