st Corinthians 5

It is actually heard of prostitution among you, and such prostitution which is not even among the nations, so that a certain one to have his father’s wife.

And you are puffed up, and did not rather mourn, in order that the one having practiced this work might be taken away out from your midst.

For I on the one hand, being absent as to the body, but on the other hand, being present as to the spirit, have already judged the one so having worked-down this thing, as being present.

In the name of [our] Lord Jesus, you all having gathered together and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus,

to deliver the such one to Satan into destruction of the flesh, in order that the spirit might be saved in the day of the Lord.

Your boast is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?

Clean out the old leaven, in order that you might be a new lump, just as you are unleavened. For even our Passover was sacrificed, Christ.

So that we might keep the feast, not in old leaven, not even in leaven of evil and wickedness, but in unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

I wrote to you in the letter not to be mixed together with prostitutes,

not at all with the prostitutes of this world, or with the covetous and robbers, or with idolaters, otherwise you were being obligated then to go out from the world.

But now I wrote to you not to be mixed together, if a certain one being named a brother might be a prostitute, or covetous. or an idolater, or abusive, or a drunkard, or a robber, with the such one not even to eat.

For what is it to me to judge the ones outside? Do you not judge the ones inside?

But the ones outside, God will judge. Lift out the evil one out from yourselves.
