Christ, therefore, having suffered as to flesh, you also equip yourselves with the same intension, because the one having suffered as to flesh has ceased from sin,
into the purpose no longer to live the remaining time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
For the past time is sufficient to have worked-down the intention of the nations, carried out in licentiousness, lusts, drunkenness, carousals, drinking parties and forbidden idolatries,
in which they are astonished of you not running together into the same excess of dissipation, who blaspheming,
they will give account to the One being ready to judge the living and the dead.
For into this the gospel was preached even to dead ones, in order that on the one hand, they might be judged according to men as to flesh, but on the other hand, they might live according to God as to spirit.
And the end of all things has drawn near, be sensible therefore, and sober into prayers.
Before all things having fervent love into yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins,
hospitable into one another without grumbling.
Just as each one received a gift, ministering it into yourselves as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Since a certain one speaks, then as oracles of God; since a certain one ministers, then as out from the force which God supplies; in order that in all things God might be glorified through Jesus Christ, to Whom is the glory and the might into the ages of the ages. Amen.
Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery test among you, coming to be toward a test for you, as a strange thing happening to you;
but, according as you share with the sufferings of Christ, rejoice, in order that also in the revelation of His glory, you might rejoice, rejoicing greatly.
Since you are reproached in the name of Christ, then you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
For let not any one of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a busybody;
but if as a Christian, then let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this part.
Because the time has come of the result for judgment to begin from the house of God, and if first from us, then what will be the end of the ones being disobedient to the gospel of God?
And since the righteous one with difficulty is saved, then where will the one ungodly and sinner appear?
So that also, the ones suffering according to the will of God, let them place alongside for themselves their souls to a faithful Creator in well-doing.
