Peter 2

Therefore, having put away all wickedness and all deceit and hypocrisies and envies and all slanders,

as newborn babies, long for the rational, pure milk, in order that in it you all might grow into salvation,

since you all tasted that the Lord is kind.

Toward Whom approaching, a living Stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen alongside God, honored.

And you all as living stones, are built up a spiritual house into a holy priesthood, to carry up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ,

because it is contained in Scripture: Behold, I place in Zion a corner stone, chosen, honored, and the one believing upon Him might absolutely not be ashamed.

Therefore, the honor is to you all, the ones believing, but to the ones disbelieving, the stone which the ones building rejected, this One came to be into the Head of the corner,

and a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offence, which they stumble, being disobedient to the word, into which they were also placed.

But you all are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people into preservation, so that you all might proclaim the excellencies of the One having called you all out from darkness into the marvelous His light;

who were once not a people, but now a people of God, the ones not pitied, but now having been pitied.

Beloved, I exhort you all as aliens and sojourners, to abstain from the fleshly lusts which war against the soul,

having your conduct good in the nations, in order that in which they slander you all as evildoers, out from observing the good works, they might glorify God in a day oversight.

Be subject to every human creation on account of the Lord, whether to a king as being over you all,

or to governors, as being sent through him into avenging of evildoers and praise of ones doing good.

Because, so is the will of God, doing good, to silence the ignorance of the foolish men.

As free ones, and not having the freedom as a pretext of the wickedness, but as bondservants of God.

Honor all, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king.

House servants, being subject in all fear to the masters, not only to the good and fair, but also to the crooked.

For this is grace, since on account of conscience of God a certain one bears pain, suffering unjustly,

for what sort of report is it, if sinning and being punished, you all will endure? But, if doing good and suffering, you all will endure, then this is grace alongside with God.

For into this you all were called, because Christ also suffered on behalf of you all, leaving you all an example, in order that you all might follow to His steps.

Who did not sin, not even was deceit found in His mouth,

Who being reviled, was not reviling in return, suffering, was not threatening, but was committing Himself to the One judging righteously.

Who Himself carried up our sins in His body upon the tree, in order that, having died to sins, we might live to righteousness, by Whose bruise you all were healed.

For you all were as sheep wandering, but now you all returned upon the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
